The short version
None of our consumer apps ask you to create a NerdyTechs account. We never ask for your name, address or
phone number, we do not sell or rent data to anyone, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.
Where an app sends something to our servers, it is listed below in plain English, app by app, with
nothing hidden in a category name.
Who we are
NerdyTechs is a trading name of NT Solutions LLC, a computer repair and IT services business in Charlotte,
North Carolina. Our apps are published on the App Store by NT Solutions LLC. Questions,
complaints and deletion requests all go to
apps@nerdytechs.com and reach a person, not a queue.
What Apple handles, not us
When you download or pay for an app, that transaction is between you and Apple. We receive aggregate sales
and crash reports from Apple: counts, versions, device types and countries, with no way to identify you.
If you opt in to sharing analytics with developers in iOS Settings, Apple may include your anonymised crash
logs in that aggregate.
Advertising
Some of our free apps carry ads served by Google AdMob. Where they do, Google, not NerdyTechs,
receives the data needed to serve and measure an ad, which can include a device advertising identifier.
iOS asks for your permission before any app can use that identifier for tracking, and saying no does not
change how our apps work. Google’s handling is covered by
Google’s policy.
Our apps never send Google your leaderboard name or anything you typed.
Children
Our apps are rated 4+ and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal
information from children. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices
Ask us to delete anything of yours that we hold, such as a leaderboard row or an analytics record, and we will,
within 30 days, no account required. Deleting the app also stops any further data being sent. Depending on
where you live you may have additional rights (access, correction, portability, objection) under laws such
as the GDPR or the CCPA; we honour those requests at the same address, and we do not sell personal
information as those laws define it.
Security & changes
What little we hold sits on servers we run ourselves, reachable only over encrypted connections. If we
change this policy we will change the effective date at the top, and material changes will be called out
on this page rather than slipped in quietly.
